Welcome to My Movie Download! So you want to download movies from the internet, but don't know where to start? We can help guide you through the vast number of options available on the net. You can download movies form Studio backed websites or use P2P Networks.Studio backed Sites. You will get legal downloads at the Hollywood backed sites, but the time limitations on viewing periods are poor. Not being able to burn to DVD is a huge problem. The Movie selection can be limited. Better titles are being added but still not at the selection level of a traditional retail video store. See the full list of Advantages and Disadvantages. P2P Networks Movies found on these sites are free. P2P networks are completely legal but sharing copy-righted material is not legal anywhere in the world. Also many of the software you must use to share movies comes with adware and sometimes viruses. See the full list of Advantages and Disadvantages.

Archos 604 wifi Test Drive
I am in the testing the Archos 604 wifi with the movie service cinemanow.com. This Archos device allows you to store movies, TV shows, music, music videos, and pictures from many different sources. What I am interested in is downloading a movie and transferring it to the Archos player and then attaching it to my TV.
Over the next few days I will test the whole process and give my feed back. If this really works it is an alternate to itunes and ipod play. I also have this set up, which is not the greatest quality… I am not ready to upgrade to itv, so let’s see how this goes with the Archos. Here is Cnet’s reviw of the 604 wifi.

The Da Vinci Code
The Da Vinci Code went on sale today at retailers and online. The Da Vinci Code stars Tom Hanks and is directed by Ron Howard. This is a highly anticipated movie. It has grossed over 200 million at the box office.
You can run out to Best Buy and grab a copy or you can download it at Cinemanow.com.
Let’s call this a political / religious /drama? Anyway here is a short synopsis of the movie found at Yahoo Movies:
“Famed symbologist Professor Robert Langdon is called to the Louvre museum one night where a curator has been murdered, leaving behind a mysterious trail of symbols and clues.”
