Is this the beginning of the end for YouTube. Everyone called it. Once Google took over the legal action would start. Looks like this is the start. Will it be the down fall? Well if you take away the core product of any business you will lose customers. Part of the draw is to watch clips from ESPN or a funny commercial, but if this content goes away I am not sure how many people are really going to stick around to watch teenage girls trying to sing and dance like Beyonce.

Google’s YouTube removed 29,549 video files from its popular Web site after receiving a demand from a group of Japanese media companies over copyright infringement, an industry group said on Friday.

For all you Halo fans looks like the movie is now dead. I found this report over at the Movie Blog. Another very cool site. Check their site out, I put a link at the end of this post.

The Halo movie has been simultaneously dropped by both studios that were co-financing the project. Universal and Fox studios announced that they were both backing out of the project. This is actually really unexpected, at least from an outsiders point of view.

Saw III opens October 27th, 2006

Here is the short synopsis:
