Movielink, which distributes movies over the Internet, is close to fixing one of the main drawbacks to downloading films over the Web.Santa Monica, Calif.-based Movielink has purchased technology from software company Sonic Solutions that makes it possible for customers to transfer the movies they download onto DVDs, according to a Sonic Solutions’ spokesman.

Movielink to allow movies transferred to DVDs | CNET News.com

It’s about time. However if you go and read the full cnet story you will see no timeliness. Meaning this may not be available for 2 weeks, 6 months, 2 years… It’s nice to hear Hollywood is finally listening to it’s customers, but we still don’t know when this product will be ready for use.
Who will make it to market first Cinemanow or movielink and who will have the better product? I guess only time will tell. Until then most people I know still love their netflix and on demand…
